In honor of Valentine's Day, that grandest and most chocolated of all the Hallmark Holidays - and because there seems to be a trend ala the rise of The White Stripes and The Kills - I've compiled a list of my favorite musical boy/girl duos. Criteria for inclussion on this love-silly list are as follows:
a) couples must be primarily a duo or the core writing / recording part of a band...
b) said duo / band must be the artists' bread and butter gig - no duet albums or cameos please...
c) duos must be boy/girl - while my personal politics emphatically support same sex unions, it's a whole different dynamic musically speaking, plus there are too many to consider here - so Hall & Oates and the Heart sisters will have to wait for their own lists. Maybe Memorial Day.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Im impressed, I must say. Very seldom do I discover a blog that is both educational and entertaining, and let me tell you, youve hit the nail on the head. Your blog is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.

Are you positive which you have the facts straight? I have read a variety of articles that contradict what you said here, so I do not know what to believe.

That is an interesting point, it made me think a bit. Thank you for sparking my thinking cap. Oftentimes I get so much in a rut that I just feel like a record.
